Nightfall, sundown, eventide. Blue and deep orangey-red are one of my favourite sets of complimentary colours. This piece makes me think of exceptionally clear nights when the sky is cloudless and the world is quiet. I imagined this beautiful raptor was surveying her moonlit surroundings one last time before dozing off for the night.
