On this piece I took inspiration from the deep, rich tones of a wet fall day and did a sketch in marker. A toad under a mushroom seemed like just the right subject to pair with a lovely autumn colour palette. A good friend of mine had done a painting the day before of a similar amphibious fellow and named him Toadellini, thus he is the namesake of this drawing.
